If a loved one of yours has recently died, or if they are nearing the end of their life, we'll gladly help you to make the arrangements. The first step is to give us a call.

2. Collecting your loved one

We don't need to collect your loved one immediately, so please take your time in saying your goodbyes. Once you're ready for us, we'll bring them into our care.

3. Supporting you and your family

Whilst your loved one is resting safely in our state-of-the-art mortuary facilities, we'll guide you through all the legal paperwork, ensuring the cremation can go ahead smoothly.

4. A chance to say farewell

We know that it's important for some families to say goodbye at a ceremony before the cremation. If you would like, we can help you to arrange a simple, low-cost ceremony at a local crematorium.

5. The cremation

For those without a ceremony, we'll make sure to let you know at what time the cremation will take place, so that you can have a moment of quiet reflection to yourself.

6. Your loved one's ashes

Depending on what you'd like, we can either hand-deliver the ashes to you at home within 21 days. Or we can scatter them respectfully on your behalf at the crematorium's own Garden of Remembrance.

Can you give me an explanation of what is a Direct Cremation?: To put it simply, it is a kind of funeral that would allow you to organise a more personal alternative for your loved one to a traditional service. If they wouldn't have liked things like a hearse or pallbearers, this option may work best for them, as they are not normally included. A Direct Cremation usually occurs without any guests present, but if you would like to arrange for people to be there, we can help with that. Otherwise, we would collect your loved one and bring them to the crematorium, and then, after the ceremony, we can personally deliver their ashes back to you, or we can scatter them on your behalf at the crematorium's garden of remembrance, as you prefer.
