Aura was founded by Paul Jameson with his son Dave and their friend, Ben, after Paul was diagnosed with motor neurone disease back in 2017. They want to make sure that you and your family have a low-cost alternative to a traditional funeral without any unnecessary expense or fuss. Swansea is the proud seat of the UK’s copper-smelting heritage, formerly being known by the nickname ‘Copperopolis’. To keep our service simple and affordable, we arrange the cremation based on availability within our wider network. This helps avoid delays and allows us to offer the best possible value.
If it's important for you to choose a specific crematorium, we do offer that option for an additional cost. While we always aim to keep things as close to home as possible, your loved one may be cared for at one of our partner facilities a little further away.
